INTERNATIONAL ART EXCHANGE - Google Earth Tour

INTERACT WITH K-12 CLASSES FROM AROUND THE WORLD!

Take Google Earth tours of the schools participating in the first two rounds of OneWorld Classrooms' 2008/2009 K-12 International Art Exchange.

Google Earth Tour

To take the tour, download one of these Google Earth KMZ files: ROUND 1 or ROUND 2. Open the file in Google Earth. (If you don't already have it, download Google Earth for free. It is a remarkable classroom tool!) Navigate the globe in Google Earth to visit all 50 participating schools. Along the way, you can fly right into some of the artwork submitted by participating students! Single click a school icon to read information about the school and find links to related online content. Double click a school icon to zoom in to the school location. Double click the nearby camera icons (available only at some schools) to fly right into artwork created by students at the school.

NAVIGATION TIPS: Playing the tour will bring you to all of the schools. However, to view the artwork and read information or access links to online content, stop the tour at any location and navigate on your own. You can resume the tour at any point. When flying into the artwork, you must click the EXIT PHOTO button at the top right of the viewer to continue navigating.

LEGEND: Brown school icon = elementary school; red school icon = middle school; purple school icon = high school; camera icon = student artwork.
