NAMIBIA TOUR: Swakopmund
From
Windhoek, let's travel west to Swakopmund. Swakopmund is a small city on the
Pacific Coast, sandwiched between the dunes (of the Namib Desert) and the
deep blue sea. It was originally founded by German colonizers, as you can
see by the architecture, but now people from all over Namibia live here, many
working in nearby mines.
