Malayan tapirs may resemble pigs and elephants - and have the colors of a zebra - but they are most closely related to horses and rhinos. So, why do their babies look like watermelons? And how could something sooooo cute grow into something sooooo odd? (They are odd-toed ungulates, after all!) Malayan tapirs are endangered animals from the islands of Southeast Asia.
