Hi, my name is Zen Ting. I'm demonstrating how to write Chinese calligraphy. This is how to hold the brush. The character I'm writing is bo, meaning 'broad,' 'versatile' or 'a wide variety.' It's often combined with other characters to mean 'knowledgeable' (people), 'wide' (ocean) and 'brotherhood.'
