Below is the conversation Mr. Figinblossom's students had after they encountered the beetles. Read it, then add your contribution to the conversation in your TRAVEL LOG.
Wally: Hey, Sarge, can I have
a word with you?
Jose: Que pasa? What's up?
Wally: Well, the song of the beetles has got me to thinking. I started
our fight the other day by making a crack about the way you talk - and I was
wrong to do that.
Jose: Yeah, that made me muy enojado - very angry. So mad that I said
something I didn't really mean about the color of your skin.
Wally: Hey, I'm sorry, Sarge. I take it back. We've got our
differences, but those shouldn't keep us from being friends.
Jose: I'm sorry, too, amigo. I take back what I said. I always
liked being your ally better than being your enemy, anyway. Shake to secure
the peace agreement.
Catrina: Well, well: the warring
parties have come to terms. The only way I'll get peace is to get back
to the comfort of my living room. How many more of these mushy musical animals
have we got to pass anyway? I'm bushed!
Tina: Well, I'm vined.
Jose: !Que gracioso! Onward troops!
